We believe that supporting youth activities is one of the most important things a community can do, especially when the support helping to find a cure for pediatric cancer. Our goal is to raise funds which benefit the Texas Children's Cancer Center.

Nick's Team was founded in 2007 to support Nick Doize in his fight against leukemia. Nick's supporters sponsored a soccer tournament in June 2007, which pulled together the Houston soccer community.

The tournament was a major success. Contributions of $20,000 were collected with the help of parents, volunteers, and youth soccer clubs. Glen Davis and the ‘Athletes For Hope,’ which consists of Houston Dynamo players, Stuart Holden and Mike Chabala were major contributers in last years tournament.

Today, the organization has joined forces with Texas Children’s Cancer Center and the Curing Children’s Cancer Fund to unite the soccer community in the war against cancer. 100% of the proceeds from this years events will go to the Texas Children’s Cancer Center to help fight pediatric cancer.
