Fellow soccer community members and friends, cancer has invaded our fraternity. We have all been saddened by stories of cancer victims but now there is a face to this story. A member of the Texas Premier Soccer Club, Nick Doize is 14 years old and has been stricken with a Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia that has relapsed into his Central Nervous System. He has been bravely fighting this vicious disease for well over a year now. Nick has battled through multiple chemotherapy treatments, and due to a recent relapse, will undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Nick is a wonderful kid and seeing him toil with this disease has personalized what cancer does to people, especially our young ones. It has made many of ask ourselves “what can we do?” Well, there is something that we can ALL do.
